The Union Modular y Democratica or UMYD coffee table is a composed of several pieces than can be moved away from each other while still being connected. There are diagonal panels that expand to form a variety of position. Instead of having one idle coffee table shared by everyone in the living room, and having people constantly get up to reach the table, UMYD lets you bring a panel of the table to where you are sitting as if it was your own personal table.
