Hi hotel

HI Hotel is a contemporary urban hotel designed by Matali Crasset that is located in Nice, France. Designer Matali created a lux design without all the landmarks associated with the luxe that we know and identify with. Hi is also dedicated to protecting our planet by being as eco friend as possible through different means such as using green paint,  eco friendly kitchen appliances, recycling everything from paper to food packaging, distributing organic shampoo and showel gel in bulk without packaging, and providing bicycles in front of the hotel.

Each room was designed around a specific concept that is not related to decor theories but life experiences.

The concept around the Techno Corner room was based around images and sound. Being able to look at a large scale image from the bed or the bathroom, being able to listen to any sound using the sofa with integrated speakers and headphones.

The Digital Room was inspired by the cyber culture of today. The patterns on the wall represent giant pixels and the furniture different windows on a computer screen.

Hi hotelThe space in the Up & Down room is divided in two zones. The top which is used as a service area and holds a shelf braided chestnut. The bottom zone which is used as a resting area where you will find the bed. The area is located behind the rack of chestnut like the entrance of a garden.

The Rendez Vous room is a flexible space. It is a living room, bathroom and workspace. The tub of the bathroom is made of lava stone and overlooks a provate terrace.
