Architect James Cornetet, a University of Cincinnatti graduate, was driven to create this coffee table by the fact that he does not like it when people put their feet on coffee table, especially his table. And you can’t blame him. No one knows where those feet have been. But that is beside the point.
The table has a lower surface that conceal everyday objects like keys, remote control, phones and cups, and vertical ribs that up above the below surface. The vertical rib organize the objects and hide the clutter on the lower surface. This may have just become my favorite coffee table. It resolves many problems (clutter, spilling, organization…) while keeping a good aesthetic.
