I don’t recall which blog I saw this photo from, but I stumbled upon it maybe a year ago and I find it so inspiring. I was inspired by many different elements in this picture. The color hue and the woman’s outfit which are reminiscent of a vintage era. The faded green and brown color seen all over the image, and of course the big window and its honeycomb screen. At the same time the image can be interpreted in different ways making it appeal to more people. Is the lady sad, is she happy, what is she doing, what is she looking at?… Let me come back to the matter at hand the deco inspiration. I couldn’t fit everything I wanted in one inspirational image so I had to make 2. one inspired by the geometry shapes present in the image with a modern luxe feel, and another inspired by the colors.
